We are unique in the industry because our engines are not built on assembly lines – one man builds one engine and signs his name on it. Our engines are "Built Best" by real craftsmen using only brand name parts like Federal Mogul, Mahle, Clevite, Dana Victor, Cloyes, Silvolite, Hastings, Fel-Pro, Melling, Durobond, Elgin, and U.S. Tool.

STANDARD WARRANTY

A. TERM:

• 18 months with unlimited miles for long blocks when installed in cars or light trucks that are used for personal transportation.
• 12 months with unlimited miles installed in vehicles over 8600 GVW or those used in fleet or commercial applications.
• 6 months with unlimited miles for short blocks.
• Industrial, marine and emergency vehicles are warranted for 3 months on a short block, and six months on a long block.
• Head gaskets are warranted for three months.
• Cylinder heads sold over the counter are warranted for three months.

B. COVERAGE:

Your R&D Performance engine is warranted against failures caused by defective parts or workmanship. This warranty does not cover problems caused by components not supplied by us, abuse, abnormal combustion, dirt, lack of lube, overheating or improper installation. There is no reimbursement for towing, rental cars or trucks or any other consequential damages.

C. DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE:

If there is a possible problem, call our Customer Service department at 615-382-9944 to discuss it with one of our technicians. We will assist you with the diagnostic and work with you to help resolve the problem.

D. WARRANTY AND GOODWILL:

Any parts that may be defective and covered under this warranty must be returned to R&D Performance at your expense. After we have inspected the engine or parts, we will determine whether or not it's a warrantable failure. If it's our responsibility, we will reimburse you for parts and labor according to our warranty. If it's not our responsibility, we will repair or replace the engine at a reduced cost to help you minimize your out-of-pocket expense.

E. LABOR:

Our Limited Warranty pays your regular hourly shop rate times the number of hours listed on our labor chart up to $650 to remove and replace an engine if it's our responsibility. We will also pay your labor for the replacement of a head or other field repairs as well. Our Limited Warranty spells out the details.

F. FLUIDS AND FILTERS:

We will reimburse you up to $20 for fluids and filters when an engine or heads are replaced under the terms of this warranty.
