It is easily applied to surfaces by spraying or brushing and does not need frequent application. Royal Purple Max-Chain synthetic chain lubricant uses a solvent that evaporates when applied, leaving a dry, wax-like film that effectively minimizes the collection of dust and other airborne contaminants. Recommended for chains or open gears operating in dusty environments, Royal Purple Max-Chain synthetic chain lubricant can lubricate up to 400 degrees F once the solvent has evaporated.
